Fiji has two main seasons: the wet season (November–April), with brief local showers, and the dry season. Daytime temperatures range from 25°C (77°F) in the dry season up to 31°C (88°F) in wetter months, with evenings slightly cooler at 21°C (70°F).
Water temperatures are generally consistent across the region. The coolest months are July–October, averaging 26°C (78°F), while warmer months (February–June) average around 28°C (82°F).
For most guests, a 3mm shorty with a rash vest is suitable in warmer months, and a 3–5mm full wetsuit is recommended for cooler months. Those sensitive to cold, especially with repeated dives, may wish to bring an additional vest or hood.
